Fleet Manager – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Fleet Manager will oversee all vehicle operations for the warehouse, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective transportation of goods. Reporting to management, you will coordinate GPS tracking, toll expenses, accident handling, and vehicle maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Generate daily, weekly, monthly and annual GPS and transportation reports for the fleet.
• Manage toll road expense reporting and reconcile monthly traffic accident records.
• Oversee workshop activities, vehicle repairs, and parts procurement.
• Handle daily transportation issues and maintain 8‑ton flatbed truck schedules.
• Monitor daily refuelling, verify fuel reports, and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare regular reports for the Warehouse Director and senior management.
• Respond to driver accidents, devise solutions, and report outcomes to management.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Warehouse Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or fleet management.
• Experience with steel manufacturing import/export operations and customs clearance.
• Knowledge of HS codes, Incoterms and trade compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
• Proven ability to lead and manage staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with standard logistics software.
• Familiarity with HS codes and Incoterms.
• Understanding of trade compliance procedures.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
