Legal Expert – AI Data Annotation Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a remote legal expert to work on an hourly contractor basis, reviewing AI‑generated legal analyses and creating high‑quality legal content. Your feedback will directly improve the reasoning accuracy of leading AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate AI‑generated legal answers for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to prompts.
• Identify methodological or doctrinal errors, fact‑check citations, and verify jurisdictional relevance.
• Write detailed explanations, model solutions, and structured feedback for each assessment.
• Develop AI training prompts and responses that cover a broad range of legal topics.
• Rank and compare multiple AI outputs to enhance model performance.
• Test AI models for potential biases or inaccuracies and ensure overall model integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Law (JD/LLB), Legal Studies, Public Policy, or Political Science.
• 5+ years of professional experience in legal practice, policy analysis, or related fields.
• Strong grounding in Constitutional Law, Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure, and Regulatory/Administrative Law.
• Exceptional legal reasoning, issue‑spotting, statutory interpretation, and case analysis skills.
• Minimum C1 English proficiency and ability to produce clear, structured written feedback.
• Self‑directed, reliable, and comfortable working across time zones in a remote, hourly workflow.
