Contract Review Expert

About the role

We are looking for a Contract Review Subject Matter Expert to work on an hourly, remote basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated contract analyses and drafting outputs, providing precise written feedback and creating gold‑standard contract content for training advanced language models.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and gold‑standard contract deliverables such as issue lists, redlines, negotiation notes, and clause rewrites.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve accuracy, clarity, and practical usefulness in negotiations.
• Test AI outputs for errors, misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias across a variety of commercial agreements.
• Fact‑check legal concepts, cite sources when required, and produce clear explanations for non‑legal audiences.

Required profile

• JD/LLB (or equivalent) or extensive paralegal/contracts experience.
• 5+ years of professional contract review experience in in‑house legal, law firm, procurement, legal ops, or contracts management.
• Strong ability to identify and explain contract risks such as liability caps, indemnities, warranties, termination rights, IP ownership, and privacy clauses.
• Excellent attention to detail and minimum C1 English proficiency.

Required skills

• Proficiency in drafting, redlining, and reviewing commercial agreements (MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, DPAs, SaaS contracts, etc.).
• Ability to produce clear, practical guidance for non‑legal stakeholders.
