Inventory Costing Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Inventory Costing Officer to join our finance team. The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory records, reconciling stock movements, and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical quantities with system records.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in inventory transactions.
• Monitor pending, cancelled, returned, and completed orders.
• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Warehouse departments to resolve order issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and supporting documents.
• Assist in month‑end closing and audit preparation activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in reconciliation, inventory control, or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of sales operations and financial reconciliation processes is an advantage.
