HR Manager

About the role

The HR Manager will lead end‑to‑end HR operations for Synergy Ventures in Phnom Penh, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations and compliance across multiple business units.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate hiring processes and maintain accurate HR records.
• Manage employee inquiries, benefits and payroll coordination with finance.
• Develop and implement HR policies, support workforce planning and advise on organizational structure.
• Monitor Cambodian labor law requirements and ensure compliance.
• Support learning and development initiatives to enhance engagement and retention.

Required profile

• Local candidate with experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience as an HR Manager or HR generalist, preferably in multi‑industry or regional organizations.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities, able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Cambodian labor laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in HR administration, including contracts, documentation, payroll and benefits processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑cultural collaboration.
