Head of Corporate Banking Department – Deposit

About the role

The Head of Corporate Banking – Deposit leads the sales of the bank’s deposit products, driving new client acquisition and expanding relationships with existing corporate customers. Reporting to senior management, the role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and close collaboration with branches and other business units.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the sales budget and grow a profitable book of deposit business.
• Build and maintain referral networks through internal relationships, existing customers, and local market activities.
• Acquire new corporate clients and deepen relationships with existing ones to improve profitability.
• Manage the sales pipeline, including up‑selling and cross‑selling of banking solutions.
• Provide tailored financial recommendations based on deep product knowledge.
• Develop and execute customer‑retention strategies to increase client value.
• Collaborate closely with branches and other business units to capture upstream and downstream opportunities.
• Deliver superior customer service with professional, customized solutions.
• Guide, mentor, and motivate the team to meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relationship‑management experience in a financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of sales, marketing, customer service principles and bank branch operations.
• Understanding of banking regulations, AML/CFT laws, and internal policies.
• Hands‑on experience in client relationship management and customer service.
• Fluent in Khmer and English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and the bank’s software applications.
• High dedication to accuracy and efficiency.
