Investment Associate – CLM Hub

About the role

Prudential is seeking an Investment Associate to support investment and treasury activities across Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar (CLM). The role works closely with the Investment Manager and the CLM compliance team to evaluate, execute and monitor investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Investment Manager with financial due diligence, credit rating, bond pricing, equity valuation and drafting investment proposals.
• Gather information from counterparties, perform sanction screening and anti‑bribery & corruption due diligence.
• Execute investments, manage cash movements, prepare cash‑flow reports and projections for Cambodia.
• Monitor and reconcile repayments from counterparties and calculate portfolio performance metrics such as yield, duration and credit limit utilization.
• Prepare performance reports for the CLM Investment Committee and support annual credit‑rating reviews and covenant monitoring.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in investment evaluation, audit, financial due diligence or related fields, preferably in insurance, investment banking or international accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in banking and finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset, critical thinking and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of capital markets and economic trends in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with market intelligence platforms such as Capital IQ, Bloomberg Terminal and Refinitiv.
