Guest Service Agent

About the role

The Guest Service Agent is a full‑time, on‑site position at ibis budget Phnom Penh Riverside. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check‑in and check‑out procedures, managing reservations, and providing accurate information about the hotel and local area.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and complete check‑in/check‑out transactions efficiently.
• Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
• Respond to guest inquiries, provide directions and promote hotel services.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms and public areas meet brand standards.
• Maintain a tidy front‑desk area and adhere to safety, security, and brand guidelines.
• Assist in resolving guest issues promptly and professionally.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and guest‑relations abilities.
• Effective communication in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks.
• Team‑player attitude and willingness to collaborate with diverse colleagues.
• Previous front‑office or customer‑facing experience preferred but not mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or tourism education is an advantage.

Required skills

• Point‑of‑sale (POS) system operation.
• Computer reservation software proficiency.
