F&B Service Supervisor - Mandarin Speaking

About the role

The Food & Beverage Service Supervisor ensures smooth daily operations across restaurant, lounge, banquet and other F&B outlets while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role acts as the primary liaison for Mandarin‑speaking guests, providing personalized assistance and clear communication. You will lead a team to uphold IHG brand standards and drive service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of all Food & Beverage outlets to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Maintain compliance with IHG brand standards, hotel policies and service procedures.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, ensuring swift resolution.
• Communicate effectively with Mandarin‑speaking guests, offering personalized support.
• Lead, coach and motivate the F&B service team, conducting briefings and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate with Kitchen, Stewarding, Front Office and other departments for seamless operations.
• Promote upselling and support departmental revenue targets.
• Oversee accurate billing, cash handling and inventory control.
• Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety.
• Prepare operational reports, monitor stock levels and assist with administrative tasks.
• Support staff training, scheduling and execution of promotions and special events.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Tourism or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Food & Beverage service experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
• Experience with an international hotel brand is preferred.
