Credit Officer – 20 Openings

About the role

The Credit Officer role supports the bank’s lending operations by assessing customer creditworthiness and handling loan paperwork. You will work closely with the Deputy Branch Manager and interact with clients, partners, and local authorities to ensure smooth loan processing.

Key responsibilities

• Review loan requests and evaluate customers’ financial status.
• Prepare loan applications and calculate financial ratios such as credit scores and interest rates.
• Collect necessary documentation from customers and maintain up‑to‑date loan records.
• Monitor existing loans, follow up on renewals, and collect repayments when required.
• Maintain strong relationships with business partners, local authorities, and customers.
• Participate in sales campaigns and support branch targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Credit Officer or in a similar credit assessment role.
• Understanding of lending procedures and financial products.
• Strong analytical abilities and customer‑service orientation.
• Fresh graduate or student (year 1 onward) with a degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
