Coffee Shop Supervisor (Vocational Training Center)

About the role

The Coffee Shop Supervisor will lead the daily operations of the RSO Coffee Shop Training Center in Phnom Penh. This role blends café management with inclusive vocational training, ensuring the shop runs as a sustainable business while providing hands‑on learning for youths with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day café operations, guaranteeing efficient service and a welcoming, inclusive environment.
• Oversee food and beverage preparation, maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food‑safety standards.
• Control inventory, purchasing, and stock in line with RSO’s procurement and financial policies.
• Prepare operational schedules, assign staff duties, and handle customer feedback promptly.
• Develop and deliver an inclusive coffee‑shop training curriculum for trainees.
• Create Individual Vocational Training Plans (IVTPs) and adapt methods to each trainee’s abilities and goals.
• Supervise practical café‑based training, monitor progress, and provide coaching and constructive feedback.
• Support job placement initiatives and contribute to the long‑term sustainability of the training center.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a coffee shop or similar hospitality venue.
• Experience designing or delivering vocational training, preferably for individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities to coordinate staff and trainees.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to inclusive practices.
