Chief Representative – Logistics & Forwarding (Cambodia)

About the role

We are seeking a Chief Representative to lead our logistics and forwarding operations in Cambodia, serving as the primary point of contact for cross‑border shipments and market development.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor Cambodia logistics market developments, regulations, customs procedures and cross‑border logistics (Cambodia‑Vietnam).
• Collect market information on key industries such as garments, textiles, agriculture and manufacturing.
• Identify and assess local logistics partners including trucking firms, warehouses and customs brokers.
• Act as the local coordination point for Cambodia‑related shipments, supporting operations and key‑account teams in issue resolution and customer enquiries.
• Assist with implementation of new or renewed business involving Cambodia routes and understand basic logistics pricing and cost structures.
• Support preparation of SOPs and operational guidelines, ensure smooth handover of projects to Operations and Finance teams.
• Represent VICO at logistics associations, industry groups, trade events, exhibitions, seminars and workshops, maintaining relationships with local stakeholders.
• Provide market insights to support regional marketing, share operational knowledge to improve customer confidence and support non‑sales activities.
• Ensure effective communication with internal and external parties, recommend process improvements and cost‑saving ideas.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in logistics, freight forwarding or international trade.
• Strong understanding of Cambodia’s logistics and customs environment; experience with cross‑border logistics (Cambodia‑Vietnam preferred).
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in English; Khmer and/or Chinese is an advantage.
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently.
