Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will drive new revenue streams beyond the academy’s core school‑age programs. Focusing on corporate B2B English and Chinese training contracts, a public workshop series, and market intelligence, the role is central to expanding the academy’s reach and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and close B2B training contracts with corporate clients in Phnom Penh and surrounding areas.
• Develop and launch a public workshop programme, coordinating freelance trainers and managing delivery logistics.
• Gather and analyse market data to provide actionable insights for the academy’s growth strategy.
• Collaborate with marketing teams on branding, campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Maintain and grow a network of business contacts, fostering long‑term client relationships.
• Oversee external freelance/contractor relationships to ensure quality and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in education, training, or services.
• Strong network or ability to build one within the Phnom Penh business community.
• Fluent English; Khmer preferred; Chinese an advantage.
• Willingness to support evening and weekend programme delivery as needed.
