Transfer Pricing Director – Southeast Asia

About the role

Andersen is seeking a senior, client‑facing professional to lead and expand its Transfer Pricing practice across Southeast Asia. This role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and strategic direction rather than day‑to‑day documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the transfer pricing team, allocate work, review quality, and mentor consultants.
• Originate and close new business: identify prospects, pitch services, negotiate fees and scope, and convert leads into signed engagements.
• Act as primary relationship owner for key clients, meeting regularly with C‑suite and finance leaders.
• Represent Andersen at client meetings and present transfer pricing strategies and compliance requirements.
• Oversee defense of clients during tax authority audits, directing the technical team and engaging with authorities as needed.
• Partner with other service lines to identify cross‑selling opportunities and shape practice growth.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of global transfer pricing regulations, OECD Guidelines, and local rules.

Required profile

• Senior, commercially‑mindset professional with a strong track record in selling and managing client relationships.
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in transfer pricing or related tax/advisory fields.
• Significant experience in client‑facing, business development, or practice leadership roles.
