Branch Manager - Chinese Speaking (Provincial Branch)

About the role

We are seeking a Branch Manager who is fluent in Chinese Mandarin to lead a provincial bank branch. The role carries full profit and loss responsibility, drives sustainable business growth, ensures strict regulatory compliance, and delivers premium customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, including customer service counters and project delivery.
• Plan and manage the annual and quarterly budgets, ensuring targets for profit, deposits, fee income and new customer acquisition are met.
• Lead, coach and evaluate the branch team, implementing retention measures to reduce turnover.
• Act as the first line of defense against fraud, operational errors and regulatory breaches, ensuring KYC/AML and internal controls are applied.
• Set service standards, monitor customer satisfaction, and resolve complex complaints promptly.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, propose process improvements and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline operations.
• Maintain effective communication with all business units, divisions and other branches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong command of written and spoken English; Mandarin Chinese is an advantage.
• Proven ability to drive performance, manage P&L and lead high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
