Tax Assistant – Compliance & Advisory

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Tax Assistant to join our Tax Compliance Team. The role supports the delivery of tax compliance and advisory services for our clients while developing technical expertise in Cambodian tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with monthly and annual tax compliance filings.
• Support tax reviews, health checks, due‑diligence engagements and audit requests.
• Maintain accurate working papers and documentation.
• Liaise with clients to collect tax and financial information and communicate with the General Department of Taxation and other authorities.
• Participate in client meetings and provide administrative support for engagements.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and contribute to internal training.
• Assist senior consultants on advisory and compliance projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Law or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in taxation, accounting, finance or audit.
• Good understanding of Cambodian tax regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in a professional services or tax advisory firm; membership or progress toward a professional qualification is a plus.
