Operations Reconciliation and Dispute Officer

About the role

The Operations Reconciliation and Dispute Officer ensures daily transaction records and reports are accurate, complete, and compliant within the bank’s information systems. This role supports the Operations Reconciliation and Dispute team by handling dispute letters, confirming reconciliations, and maintaining communication with branches and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and verify all reconciliation and dispute statements and reports.
• Receive, check, and process dispute letters from branches, especially government‑related cases.
• Report to relevant departments to confirm the correctness of reconciliations.
• Prepare dispute reports and follow up on each case.
• Execute end‑of‑day verification of daily reports and file related documents.
• Support all reconciliation and dispute processing activities while adhering to the operations manual and bank code of conduct.
• Maintain effective communication and cooperation with all business units, departments, and branches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and Chinese.
• Self‑directed, self‑motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
• Pleasant personality and receptive to direction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• General computer literacy.
