Talent Acquisition Officer

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Officer will support the Talent Acquisition Manager in meeting the recruitment needs of all divisions within MJQE. Working primarily from the head office, the role involves close collaboration with internal hiring managers and external partners such as recruitment agencies, universities and NGOs.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Talent Acquisition policies, processes and SOPs to ensure consistent, controlled recruitment activities.
• Assist hiring managers with best practices, advise on selection processes and review candidate CVs.
• Proactively source, headhunt and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Conduct interviews, follow up referrals and support other HR projects related to talent acquisition.
• Participate in relevant community and networking activities as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Officer or in a similar recruitment role.
• Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with resume databases and professional networking sites.
• Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
