Senior Marketing Officer

About the role

Spean Luy is seeking a creative and analytical Senior Marketing Officer to lead its digital marketing initiatives in Phnom Penh. The role covers the full lifecycle of customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and promotional activities, with a strong focus on fintech and startup environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive online marketing strategies across Telegram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms.
• Create engaging content – posts, captions, videos, campaigns and promotional materials – using Canva and AI‑driven design tools.
• Plan, launch and optimise paid advertising and boosting campaigns, ensuring timely delivery.
• Manage monthly push notifications and in‑app messages to boost user engagement, conversion and retention.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, identify opportunities and propose improvements.
• Analyse campaign performance using fintech KPIs such as CPI, conversion rate, retention rate and engagement rate, and produce weekly and monthly reports with actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field.
• 2–3 years of digital marketing experience, preferably in fintech, technology or a startup.
• Fluent in both Khmer and English, with strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, flexible and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva and other AI‑based design tools.
• Experience using AI tools and prompt engineering for content creation.
• Social media management across Telegram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube.
• Online advertising and campaign boosting.
• Understanding of key marketing KPIs (CPI, conversion, retention, CAC).
