Senior Large Business Loan Officer

About the role

The Senior Large Business Loan Officer is responsible for acquiring, onboarding, and managing large‑business loan clients for the Grand Phnom Penh Branch. This role combines client relationship management with rigorous credit underwriting to ensure high‑quality loan portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a portfolio of large‑business clients in line with credit policy and procedures.
• Provide financial advice, tailor loan solutions, and cross‑sell additional banking products.
• Collect, verify, and analyse all required documentation, including credit histories and large‑business financial statements.
• Conduct site visits to assess business premises, collateral, and loan purpose, ensuring sufficient security.
• Prepare detailed Credit Appraisal Reports with financial analysis for senior approval.
• Execute loan contracts, arrange timely disbursements, and monitor repayment performance.
• Perform regular post‑disbursement reviews, site visits, and annual facility renewals.
• Coordinate with Head Office on covenant compliance and manage delinquent accounts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, banking, accounting or a related field.
• Significant experience in large‑business loan underwriting and credit analysis.
• Strong knowledge of credit policies, risk assessment, and loan documentation.
• Proven ability to build and retain corporate client relationships.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
