About the role

The Rural Development and Agriculture Bank is looking for a Senior Credit Officer to support its credit operations across several provinces. The role involves promoting the bank’s credit policies, evaluating loan applications, and ensuring timely repayment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and communicate the bank’s credit principles to customers and regional authorities.
• Receive, review, and assess loan applications and supporting documents.
• Visit client business locations to verify information and collateral.
• Prepare analytical reports on credit decisions and monitor loan performance.
• Manage debt repayment, resolve delinquent accounts, and maintain secure client records.
• Participate in the development and implementation of office strategies and action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit assessment and loan administration.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate credit reports and make recommendations.
• Good communication skills in English and Khmer.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective use of Internet and email for research and correspondence.
