Senior Cyber Security Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Architect to lead research, design, and implementation of robust security solutions across the organization. The role involves staying ahead of emerging threats, shaping security strategy, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct R&D and market research to identify available cybersecurity solutions and design secure architectures.
• Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and processes to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to embed security controls into infrastructure, applications, and business processes.
• Communicate security requirements, risks, and solutions to stakeholders, partners, and external auditors.
• Lead security reviews, risk assessments, and audits, identifying vulnerabilities and driving remediation.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to technical teams, defending security decisions to internal and external parties.
• Serve as the primary contact for penetration tests, risk assessments, and audit activities.
• Keep abreast of the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve the security framework.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum five years of hands‑on experience in cyber security within large technology environments.
• Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns such as microservices, data‑driven and event‑driven architectures.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences and influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• CISSP, CISM or CEH certifications (preferred)
• Experience with penetration testing, risk assessment and security audit methodologies
• Knowledge of microservices, data‑driven and event‑driven architecture design
• Proficiency in evaluating and integrating security technologies and tools
