Senior E-Banking System Officer

About the role

The Senior E-Banking System Officer will lead the operation and optimisation of core banking switching, card management and card personalization platforms. This role ensures stable, secure, and efficient electronic banking services across the institution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and administer the switching system, card management and card personalization systems to ensure stable operations.
• Configure system parameters, fine‑tune performance and optimise the switching platform.
• Implement and support interfaces with domestic and international payment schemes using ISO messages, APIs or other channels.
• Manage Host Security Module (HSM) functions, including key generation, import and export in line with security controls.
• Coordinate with Head Office units, branches, ATMs, POS terminals and other interfaced systems to support changes and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience with ATM/POS switching systems, card management or related banking systems.
• Familiarity with payment scheme operations (e.g., Visa, MasterCard) and e‑channel platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and coordination abilities, with a professional attitude.
• Good command of spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Oracle Database, PostgreSQL or MySQL and advanced SQL (stored procedures, functions).
• Programming in C++, Java and PHP.
• Version control using Git.
• Experience with Host Security Module (HSM) configuration and cryptographic key management.
• Implementation of ISO‑8583 messaging and API integrations for payment schemes.
