E-Banking System Officer

About the role

The E-Banking System Officer will ensure the smooth operation and stability of ATM switching, card management, and related e‑channel systems at the bank's head office. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and upgrading critical banking software while providing timely support to resolve system issues.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support ATM switching, card management, and card personalization systems to maintain continuous service.
• Implement system configurations, parameter settings, and fine‑tuning to improve performance and efficiency.
• Configure and support HSM functions and cryptographic key management according to security procedures.
• Perform system upgrades, testing, and compliance checks with vendor specifications and payment‑scheme standards.
• Respond to help‑desk tickets, investigate incidents, escalate when necessary, and follow up until resolution.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver business reports by translating requirements into secure reporting solutions.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, or a related field (fresh graduates may be considered).
• 1–2 years of experience with ATM switching, card management, or e‑channel support preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL databases, SQL, stored procedures and functions.
• Familiarity with programming in C++, Java, PHP and version control using Git.
• Basic understanding of banking operations, ATM features, card systems and payment‑industry regulations (PCI compliance is a plus).
• Strong analytical abilities, good communication, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work under pressure and be on‑call when required.
