Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will work on‑site in Phnom Penh, overseeing day‑to‑day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This full‑time position supports budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow monitoring and compliance with local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and manage general ledger entries.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow analysis.
• Maintain compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Provide financial insights to aid strategic decision‑making and improve internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or ACCA is a plus.
• Experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, preferably in consulting or investment management.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity, discretion and commitment to ethical financial practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and reporting tools.
