Procurement & Shipment Operator

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement & Shipment Operator to support the sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance processes for our projects in Cambodia. The role will work closely with internal departments, suppliers and transport agents to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market exploration for new sources of goods and services and review specifications, delivery and payment conditions.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis and prepare purchase orders or service contracts for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to track deliveries, resolve defects, damages or returns, and update supplier and price databases.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipment and customs clearance activities, ensuring timely processing.
• Update work status to requestors and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in accordance with retention schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance with Cambodian customs and transport agents.
• Current knowledge of procurement processes, technical requirements, Cambodian customs regulations and tax provisions.
• Strong teamwork spirit, ability to work under multicultural environments and strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical skills; knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering is an asset.
