Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant to the Maintenance Manager to support procurement, supplier management and customs clearance activities for our operations in Phnom Penh. The role will work closely with suppliers, transport agents and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in exploring new market sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Seek supplier quotes, prepare quote analysis and obtain management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and service compliance.
• Update supplier and price databases regularly.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders or contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipment and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in procurement, shipment and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Knowledge of procurement in the power, energy or infrastructure sector is an asset.
• Strong teamwork spirit in a multicultural environment and ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Negotiation and analytical abilities.
