Procurement & Customs Officer

About the role

The Procurement & Customs Officer will support the sourcing, purchasing and import processes for the company. Working closely with internal departments and external suppliers, you will ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining compliance with Cambodian customs regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new market sources for goods and services and review specifications, delivery and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotations based on approved purchase requests and prepare quote analyses for management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and service execution according to purchase orders and contracts.
• Update and manage supplier, price and product databases, providing periodic updates.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and contracts for departmental approval and ensure proper documentation retention.
• Coordinate with transport agents and the customs department to manage shipment and customs clearance activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance in Cambodia.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team under strict deadlines.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
