Assistant to Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant to the Maintenance Manager will support procurement, supplier management and customs activities for the organization. This role ensures that goods and services are sourced efficiently, delivered on time, and documented according to company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new market sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, prepare quote analyses and obtain management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery and service compliance.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases.
• Resolve issues such as defects, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and contracts for departmental approval.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation in line with retention schedules.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs, tax provisions and technical procurement requirements.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
