Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in Phnom Penh. The role supports the sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance of goods and services for the company, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in market research to identify new suppliers and sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery terms and payment conditions to ensure suitability.
• Obtain supplier quotations, perform quote analysis and prepare recommendations for management approval.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track order status and resolve issues such as defects, damages or returns.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases, including contact details and product information.
• Issue purchase orders, contracts and quotations for departmental approval and ensure proper documentation retention.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipment and customs clearance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement, shipment handling and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs.
• Familiarity with procurement practices in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs regulations and tax provisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and meet strict deadlines.
