Individual Consultant – Young and Emerging Evaluator

About the role

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) in Cambodia seeks a Young and Emerging Evaluator to support the Country Programme Evaluation (CPE) of its 7th Country Programme (2024‑2028). The consultant will work under the guidance of the evaluation manager across all phases of the evaluation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the CPE manager with drafting notes, managing data, conducting desk reviews, and coordinating stakeholder communications.
• Support preparation of presentations, graphs, tables and diagrams, and help with field data collection, including translation between English and Khmer.
• Contribute to data analysis and support dissemination activities such as presenting results to key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Under 35 years of age with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., development studies, public health, economics).
• Certificate in evaluation or equivalent and less than 5 years of M&E or research experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills in English and Khmer.

Required skills

• Proficiency with information and communication technology and data visualization tools.
• Ability to use PowerPoint and other presentation software for creating visual materials.
