Head of Corporate Banking – Funding

About the role

The Head of Corporate Banking – Funding leads deposit acquisition and revenue growth for corporate clients. You will design and execute deposit campaigns, collaborate with Marketing, Finance and Operations, and ensure policies stay current.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new corporate client acquisition and increase deposit balances.
• Design, launch and monitor deposit activation and growth campaigns.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Finance and Operations to align policies, procedures and cross‑selling initiatives.
• Maintain and update deposit‑related policies and procedures.
• Provide regular reporting on high‑risk customers and Enhanced Customer Due Diligence (ECDD) actions.
• Prepare periodic performance updates for senior management.
• Train front‑line staff on handling customer inquiries and complaints.
• Support the Head of Corporate Banking & FI in achieving financial targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relationship management or business development experience, preferably in banking.
• Strong knowledge of bank products and services for corporate clients.
• Excellent judgment, analytical ability and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); additional languages such as Mandarin are a plus.
