General Manager / Deputy GM – Agricultural Seed Business

About the role

The General Manager / Deputy General Manager will lead the AG Seed business unit, shaping strategy, driving growth and ensuring alignment with Angkor Green’s corporate objectives. This senior position reports directly to senior leadership and is responsible for building a high‑performing team and delivering profitable results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall business strategy and annual plan for the seed division.
• Lead sales and market development, identifying opportunities, creating distribution channels and nurturing relationships with customers, dealers and partners.
• Manage financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, budgets and profitability.
• Build, coach and manage a cross‑functional Seed team (sales, technical, marketing and support) with clear KPIs and performance management.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to drive product development, pricing, promotions and technical support that meet farmer and market needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in agriculture, agribusiness, seed, crop protection or fertilizer, with proven management or business‑leadership experience.
• Strong commercial and business‑development capabilities, demonstrated sales growth and market‑expansion success.
• Strategic thinking, decision‑making and leadership skills to build a new business unit and manage stakeholders.
• Good understanding of Cambodia’s agricultural market and seed products.
