About the role
The Ethical Trade Executive, Monitoring will assess and drive improvements in Primark’s supply chain performance, ensuring compliance with the Primark Ethical Trade Code of Conduct.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation and development of Primark’s Ethical Trade strategy, including SOPs.
- Monitor working conditions in factories, manage audit follow‑up and remediation of non‑compliances.
- Support new factory approval processes, coordinating audits and managing documentation.
- Provide guidance to suppliers, factories and workers throughout approval and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Experience in corporate responsibility and ethical trade.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with ability to build stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work across cultures in global teams and manage complex supply chains.
Required skills
- Knowledge of audit and remediation processes such as SMETA, SA8000, APSCA.
- Understanding of business context and audit programme objectives.
