Fund Development and Communication Manager

About the role

The Fund Development & Communication Manager leads national fundraising and communication initiatives to support SOS Children’s Villages Cambodia’s 2026‑2028 strategic priorities. Reporting to the National Director, the role works closely with senior program and operations staff to secure resources and raise the organization’s profile.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan aligned with the NSP 2026‑2028.
• Identify and pursue funding opportunities from institutional donors, foundations, embassies, UN agencies, INGOs and private sector partners.
• Prepare high‑quality concept notes, proposals, budgets and donor reports.
• Manage donor relationships, ensuring timely communication, stewardship and diversification of the donor base.
• Oversee corporate partnership development and grant acquisition processes.
• Lead brand development and public communication activities to promote community‑based care, family strengthening programs and social enterprises.
• Coordinate with program, finance, HR and PSA partners to align proposals with organisational goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations and communications within the non‑profit sector.
• Strong understanding of institutional donor landscapes, grant cycles and corporate partnership models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to craft compelling proposals and public messages.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across multi‑disciplinary teams.
• Commitment to child safeguarding policies and the organization’s values.
