Assistant Manager, Market & Business Intelligence

About the role

The Assistant Manager, Market & Business Intelligence will work full‑time on‑site in Phnom Penh, supporting Chip Mong Insee Cement’s strategic and operational decisions. The role gathers, analyses and interprets market and competitive data, turning insights into actionable recommendations for senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research, monitor industry trends and maintain up‑to‑date market intelligence databases and dashboards.
• Prepare analytical reports and presentations that highlight market opportunities, customer segments and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and senior leadership to align insights with business planning.
• Develop forecasting models and support business planning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong market intelligence, competitive intelligence, market analysis and research capabilities.
• Advanced analytical skills with experience handling quantitative and qualitative data.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, manage multiple projects and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience in the industrial, construction or cement sector in Cambodia or the region is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel.
• Experience building BI dashboards.
• Knowledge of statistical or visualization software.
