About the role
HOPE International School seeks a dedicated English Literature Teacher to join its secondary team, delivering a Christ‑centered education within the IGCSE and IB curricula.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging English literature units from a Christian worldview, using assessment data to inform instruction.
- Provide individual student support, liaise with parents and the Student Support Team, and uphold child protection and safety policies.
- Participate in staff devotionals, corporate worship, faculty meetings, and extracurricular activities such as camps and excursions.
- Maintain discipline in line with school policy and serve as the first point of contact for conduct concerns.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Education or a relevant bachelor's degree with a teaching diploma.
- At least 12 months of teaching experience (preferred).
- Valid teaching license.
Required skills
- Strong English language skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to create dynamic curriculum and provide timely feedback.
