Director of People & Culture

About the role

The Director of People & Culture will lead the hotel’s HR function, partnering with senior leadership to shape and execute a people strategy that supports the resort’s growth and service excellence. This senior position is responsible for creating an inclusive, high‑performing workplace that aligns with the brand’s values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Oversee all HR administration, including compensation, benefits, leave, performance management, talent development, occupational health & safety, and training programs.
• Lead recruitment processes to attract diverse talent and ensure a streamlined hiring experience.
• Manage the People & Culture budget, forecasting expenses and reporting financial performance.
• Handle employee relations, conflict mediation, investigations, and disciplinary actions with fairness and confidentiality.
• Coach department heads and managers to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with Cambodian employment laws and best practices.
• Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
• Drive employee recognition, wellness initiatives, and organizational events to boost engagement.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR functions in a hospitality or similar service‑focused environment.
• Strong understanding of local labor regulations and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
