Backend Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our innovative team. The role involves developing and maintaining Java‑based applications, creating Power BI reports, automating workflows, and ensuring seamless integration with front‑end components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Java and related frameworks.
• Create and manage reports with Power BI Report Builder.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas and queries.
• Automate workflows and integrate systems using Power Automate.
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes) to streamline development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and scalability issues.
• Document deployment, maintenance, and support procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in the life‑insurance domain is a plus.
