Area Manager – Phnom Penh

About the role

The Phnom Penh Area Manager is accountable for the overall commercial, operational and financial performance of AA’s retail business in the Phnom Penh and Airport locations. The role leads retail operations, sales strategy, business development and omnichannel initiatives to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage senior supervisors and store teams to achieve sales, footfall and conversion targets across the Phnom Penh and Airport stores.
• Set commercial targets, monitor KPIs such as revenue, gross margin, operating expenses and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and execute business‑development strategies for corporate and B2B accounts, securing new partnerships and expanding key accounts.
• Drive the omnichannel and e‑commerce strategy, overseeing online sales growth, Click & Collect, home delivery and digital customer experience.
• Ensure inventory accuracy, loss prevention, compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Coach, mentor and develop senior supervisors and the Key Account Lead, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Finance or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in retail or commercial management, including at least 3 years of multi‑site responsibility.
• Proven track record of managing P&L, budgets and delivering sales and profitability growth.
• Experience in luxury or premium retail, hospitality, travel retail or consumer goods, with demonstrated success in business development and omnichannel initiatives.
