Senior IT Application Manager

About the role

The Senior IT Application Manager will lead the analysis, design, enhancement and development of the bank’s Core Banking system (T24) and middleware platform (Fiorano). The role ensures all development follows the bank’s SDLC and IT policies while delivering high‑quality solutions to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of application developers, ensuring daily tasks are performed correctly.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications using approved templates.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of multiple development projects, from effort estimation to coding, testing and production deployment.
• Review and align requirements with related divisions, assess project costs and timelines.
• Develop applications according to approved design and architecture, including T24, Fiorano, ESB and micro‑service components.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, validate vendor patches before production release, and produce ad‑hoc reports for business users.
• Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training for new system updates.
• Participate in disaster‑recovery setup and exercises for core banking and middleware platforms.
• Collaborate with IT & Data Architecture teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
• Prepare documentation for audits and ensure compliance with regulatory risk‑management standards.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 4 years developing applications on T24 Core Banking, ESB and micro‑services.
• Proven experience supervising development teams and delivering complex banking IT projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, IT policies, and regulatory risk‑control frameworks.
