Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

The Lead, Quality Assurance oversees the QA team, establishing and continuously improving testing strategies, standards, and frameworks. This role ensures the delivery of secure, reliable, and high‑quality digital solutions throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, from test planning and automation to defect management and release validation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily QA team operations to guarantee on‑time delivery of high‑performing software.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Formulate, implement, and maintain comprehensive software testing standards and automation initiatives.
• Review, plan, and audit test cases, defect tracking, and multi‑tier testing activities (functional, integration, regression, API, web, mobile, and UAT support).
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and key stakeholders to embed quality throughout projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a QA team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of the full SDLC and testing best practices.
• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop junior QA staff.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
