POS Support Officer

About the role

The POS Support Officer ensures that digital and point‑of‑sale systems across all Kungfu Kitchen outlets operate smoothly. You will work closely with operations, finance, marketing and IT teams to maintain system reliability, accurate data and timely resolution of technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in configuring, deploying and testing new digital tools and POS platforms.
• Provide day‑to‑day user support, troubleshooting hardware such as terminals, tablets, printers and barcode scanners.
• Document and escalate system incidents to the IT and Data Analyst leads.
• Maintain user access controls and follow data‑security policies.
• Support system upgrades, roll‑outs and post‑implementation activities.
• Collect, clean and prepare data for operational reporting on sales, inventory and system performance.
• Collaborate with the data team to ensure data consistency across platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or a related field.
• Basic understanding of business systems, digital platforms and operational software.
• Familiarity with databases, system integration concepts and transaction data.
• Knowledge of IT hardware and networking basics.
