DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to own and professionalise the infrastructure that powers our live Laravel and Node.js products. You will move our current ad‑hoc deployment and incident processes into documented, repeatable, and safe practices while collaborating closely with backend and mobile developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document, and automate deployment pipelines for PHP/Laravel and Node.js applications.
• Respond to production incidents, diagnose issues across code, database, and infrastructure layers.
• Maintain and optimise Linux servers, Nginx configurations, Docker containers, and multi‑service Docker‑Compose setups.
• Manage CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Administer cloud/VPS environments (DigitalOcean, AWS, Vultr, Linode) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Implement security hardening, secrets rotation, and monitoring for Redis, Cloudflare CDN/WAF, and firewall rules.

Required profile

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or systems engineering with full production responsibility.
• Hands‑on experience reading and debugging application code to pinpoint root causes.
• Strong Linux administration skills (systemd, networking, disk/memory diagnostics, log analysis).
• Deep knowledge of Nginx, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud/VPS platforms.
• Practical PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis administration experience.
• Understanding of migration safety, server hardening, and application‑layer security controls.
