AI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Applied AI Engineer with 2–3 years of hands‑on technical experience to join our Engineering & Technology team. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will blend platform engineering with AI solution design, building integrations across AITranx’s product suite and delivering real‑world AI use cases for internal projects and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain integrations between AITranx products (Gateway, Box, Agents, Enterprise AI) and customer or internal environments such as APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Support platform reliability, testing, and technical documentation for AI integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to troubleshoot integration issues and feed deployment learnings back into product improvements.
• Design practical AI architectures—including multi‑vendor gateway integration, on‑prem AI appliance deployment, AI agents, and enterprise system integration—tailored to specific business use cases.
• Build and deliver proof‑of‑concepts and technical demonstrations that showcase how AITranx solutions solve real business problems.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in technical/solutions engineering, systems integration, applied engineering, or a DevOps‑adjacent role.
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, system integration, and enterprise IT infrastructure (cloud and/or on‑premises).
• Working knowledge of AI/LLM concepts and architecture (API gateways, RAG, AI agents, vector databases) with a willingness to deepen hands‑on expertise.
• Ability to understand and map business process flows and identify integration points for AI.
• Strong communication skills to convey designs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Good command of English; Khmer fluency preferred for local market engagement.
