Electrical Engineer – EV Charging Solutions

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site Electrical Engineer position is based in Phnom Penh. You will design, review, and optimise electrical systems for electric‑vehicle charging stations, covering layout, power distribution and safety features.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess electrical requirements for new and existing charging locations.
• Prepare technical drawings, schematics and documentation using design software.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth installation.
• Verify compliance with local codes, industry standards and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and support commissioning and testing activities.
• Contribute to infrastructure planning, improving system reliability, efficiency and scalability.
• Assist with ongoing operations, maintenance and performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in electricity and electrical engineering principles applied to EV charging infrastructure.
• Proficiency in electrical design and power distribution for commercial and residential projects.
• Knowledge of power systems, load calculations, protection devices and grid integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Understanding of electrical safety standards, local regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and schematics.
• Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail and willingness to work hands‑on on site.
