Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

SHV is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor. The role supervises warehouse staff and oversees daily warehouse operations, with a stated pay range of $900-$1,200.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and oversee daily warehouse operations
• Monitor productivity and prepare performance reports
• Coordinate receiving, storage, inventory control and timely delivery of goods and materials
• Maintain inventory levels and arrange supplies when needed
• Verify orders, invoices, received goods, inventory records and deliveries for accuracy
• Maintain warehouse records and prepare documentation
• Keep the warehouse clean, maintain equipment and comply with health and safety regulations
• Conduct daily inspections and coordinate with other departments
• Train and guide staff to improve performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Retail Management or Supply Chain Management preferred
• Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control or team supervision is an advantage
• Good understanding of warehouse management systems and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of warehouse layout, stock control and inventory procedures
• Strong organization, communication and time-management skills, with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Self-motivated, flexible, able to follow instructions and work in a team
