Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to lead the sourcing, purchasing and customs clearance activities for our operations in Phnom Penh. The role will support multiple departments by ensuring timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new markets and sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions and payment terms to ensure suitability.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis and obtain management approval.
• Maintain contact with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery and service execution in line with purchase requests and contracts.
• Update and maintain supplier, price and contact databases regularly.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages or returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders and contracts for departmental approval.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and documentation according to retention schedules.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs authorities to manage shipments and ensure timely customs clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance, preferably with Cambodia customs and transport agents.
• Familiarity with procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team and meet strict deadlines.
• Good negotiation and analytical abilities.
