Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

The Senior Procurement Officer will support the sourcing of goods and services, manage supplier relationships, and oversee shipment and customs clearance activities for the company. This role works closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance with procurement policies.

Key responsibilities

• Explore new markets and sources for goods and services.
• Review specifications, delivery conditions, and payment terms.
• Obtain supplier quotes, perform quote analysis, and obtain management approval.
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and service execution.
• Update and maintain supplier and price databases.
• Resolve issues such as defective goods, damages, and returns.
• Issue quotations, purchase orders, and contracts for departmental approval.
• Coordinate with transport agents and customs to manage shipments and clearance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Marketing or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, shipment management and customs clearance in Cambodia.
• Knowledge of procurement processes in the power, energy or infrastructure sectors is an asset.
• Up‑to‑date understanding of Cambodian customs and tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team under strict deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
