Senior Inventory Control Officer

About the role

A permanent, full-time Senior Inventory Control position based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, within the Supply Chain / Warehouse / Operations department. The role manages day-to-day inventory operations and supervises inventory control officers, storekeepers and warehouse staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily inventory activities, including receiving, issuing, transferring, returning and adjusting stock, and record all transactions accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate stock balances by item, warehouse, location and project, and conduct cycle counts and annual stock counts, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor stock levels, reorder points, shortages, overstock, slow-moving, damaged and obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Warehouse, Project, Sales and Operations teams.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and analyse stock movement, aging and variances.
• Ensure proper stock coding, labelling, storage and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Supervise and guide Inventory Control Officers, Storekeepers and warehouse staff, and ensure compliance with company procedures and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, supply chain or stock control.
• Preferably 1-2 years of senior or supervisory experience.
• Experience in an IT Solutions / IT equipment company is an advantage.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of inventory control, stock reconciliation, FIFO/FEFO, inventory aging, stock turnover and reorder-point concepts.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, coordination and leadership skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work effectively with multiple departments.
